Jimmy (and Dean)'s Story

Jimmy and Dean are a bonded pair of 2 year old guinea pigs looking for a new home together.

They are sweet boys with very different personalities, but they love spending their days together eating hay, lounging around, and waiting for pea flakes, which are by far their favorite treat. If they hear the treat container, they'll come running.

Like most guinea pigs, they can be a little nervous and skittish, especially in new situations. Because of that, I think they would do best in a quieter home and probably not with very young children, older children would be ok.

They are healthy, beautiful guinea pigs, but Jimmy does have a little hop with his hind legs when he get going at a faster pace. He is currently on medication for the stiffness and it is working well, that medication will likely have to be continued to keep him as active as possible. His x rays didn't show anything significant. They are bonded, and will need to stay together! Dean wasn't even a happy camper when Jimmy went to the doctor for his check up.

If you're looking for a pair of easygoing guinea pigs and have the patience to let them settle in and be themselves, Jimmy and Dean will be great fit.
