Fig (Figaro)'s Story
Name: Fig

Age: 2-5 years old

Sex: male

Color: Black

Cage Mate: None - NONE- DOES NOT DO WELL

Adoption Fee: $75

Date of arrival: 5/29/25

Bio: Fig was transferred to our rescue from a SoCal shelter. He arrived with a ( cage-mate?) but unfortunately they began to fight and had to be separated. We do not believe they were actually bonded, and that the original family only said they lived together so they could drop off 1 cage.

***Fig struggled with his recovery and stayed on medical hold for quite awhile.
He has a more sensitive stomach, so it’s important his future home heeds our advice about sticking to one brand of pellet, lots of hay, water, and 1-2 safe treats.***
Keep it simple. He’s been doing very well and is medically cleared for adoption. Fig is shy, but warms up to you very quickly.

To adopt, you must apply with Cali_FID Rescue.

Go to www.califidparrotandexotic.com and fill out the adoption application.

These animals live in FOSTER HOMES. The rescue group does not have a facility for visitors.

If you have any additional questions about Cali_FID’s Chinchillas please contact our adoption coordinator; califidchins@gmail.com.

Thank you for choosing adoption!
