Elliot's Story
Elliot is a gorgeous four-week-old, tri-color Abyssinian male guinea pig looking for a
loving guardian preferably with another friendly male guinea pig, or matched with
another male pig at the rescue.
Elliot has always lived with other guinea pigs and is currently living with his mom and
sister pigs. He can probably be matched with his dad Gillingsby or one of the other
males at the rescue.
He is currently eating unlimited timothy, alfalfa, orchard and botanical hays, fresh salad,
fruits, veggies and young guinea pig pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they
get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch squares of red pepper, a vitamin C cookie, and some of
their dark leafy greens.
This sweet boy deserves a guinea pig-loving home with people who will handle him
daily, keep him well-fed, nails trimmed, and his habitat nice and clean.
If youre interested in meeting and possibly adopting Elliot, please fill out an adoption
application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and
follow up to make an appointment by contacting friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
His adoption fee of $50 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional
$75, you can purchase his guinea pig habitat, and all the supplies youll need to care for
him.
He is being fostered in Chicagos Andersonville neighborhood
