Dusty & Templeton's Story

Dusty & Templeton are two adult females, estimated 1–1.5 years old. Dusty is a gorgeous Wheaten Burmese, and Templeton is a sleek black American Irish. They’re on the smaller side for their age, possibly dwarf or just a lot younger than estimated.

About the girls
Dusty and Templeton came to us from a home with too many pets. At first, they were shy and cautious, much like our past special heart-case rats Faith & Hope. Over time in foster care, they’ve already started to show their personalities and are becoming more confident each day.

These active little ladies are curious explorers who love to tunnel and snuggle under blankets. They’d likely enjoy introductions to other social female rats and would do best in a home with prior rat experience. They may not be ideal for families with very young children, but they thrive with gentle, patient handling.

Dusty arrived with mild respiratory symptoms, which are being treated.
