THESE PETS ARE NOT AT THE SHELTER, PLEASE READ BELOW ON HOW TO ADOPT:<br/><br/><br/>Their names are Winry (mostly white, with brown and black splotches) and Casca (brown and black). They were 2-3 months when I got them on March 31st of this year, so that would make them 7-8 months old as of making this listing. They are sisters, and are thus a bonded pair, making them a package deal. I WILL NOT put them up for adoption separately, nor give them to someone who I suspects would/plans to do so. They are both roughly a bit over 750 grams in weight and are both perfectly healthy and groomed (nails trimmed, grease glands cleaned). They are very tame, even for their age. I still have to corner them to pick them up, but they will come up to bars to greet me if I am near their cage for long enough, and of course start squeaking up a storm (and popcorning!) the second I touch their treat, hay or pellet bags (as well as when anyone walks upstairs towards my room past 9pm, their dinner time). Speaking of food, I am currently in the process of transitioning them from baby to adult guinea pig pellets, and I currently feed them fresh veggies every night, their favorite is romaine lettuce hearts. I give them both plenty of attention and take them out of the cage to play with them on my bed at least once a day to get them used to being handled and more comfortable with people. Casca is the more vocal of the two, always making chutting noises to herself or Winry, and is always the loudest when treats/food are being taken out, but is the more shy and skittish one, usually hiding in the hidey-pocket of the bedding liner. Winry is the more adventurous/inquisitive one, and although not always wheeking as much as Casca, she is definetly the most excitable, always running laps around the cage (with or without Casca), and I have seen her popcorn more times than I have seen or heard Casca do so.<br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting these two adorable girls and giving them good lives, please do not hesitate to reach out. Preference will be given to those who currently have, or have previously had, guinea pigs. However, I am also more than happy to educate anyone without prior guinea pig experience on how to care for them.
