Coconut's Story

Coconut is a 1 year old male fancy mouse. His mom came to the rescue pregnant with him in June 2025. He is very friendly and enjoys being held. Unfortunately, when he was 6 months old he escaped his tank and was injured by a cat. He made a full recovery, but he is now slower than he used to be and has a slight head tilt. It otherwise does not affect him. Like all male mice, he must live alone. Mice live an average of 1.5-3 years.

Hazel's Home for All Animals's Adoption Policy
Adopters must sign a contract agreeing to return the animal to the rescue if they cannot keep the animal for any reason. Adopters are not permitted to abandon the animal, rehome the animal to someone else, or surrender the animal to another rescue or shelter. Adopters must agree to keep all cats indoors. Adopters must agree to seek annual vet care for dogs and cats under seven years old. Adopters must agree to seek biannual vet care for all exotic animals and dogs and cats over seven years old.
