Coco & Peaches's Story
Fostered in Norton, MA.

UPDATE 2/3/26:

Coco and Peaches are a well bonded pair. They are both much less fearful than when they came to me, in just a few weeks time. To continue to open up and become more comfortable, they could benefit from a home without dogs or young children. They were both terrified to be picked up at first, but are getting better about it over time. They can be coaxed into a snuggle sack to be picked up some of the time now and there is much less anxiety.

These girls love to eat! They like a good range of veggies, mow down a lot of hay, and wheek loudly for treats. They especially love pea flakes. Although shy to be picked up, they do not hesitate at all when hand fed treats! They regularly popcorn when their enclosure is cleaned out and they get a fresh hay pile.

Coco, the more boisterous of the two, has an extra toe on her right back foot. The toe has been checked by the vet and not determined to be in need of removal. It doesn’t seem to bother her at all. Coco is a bit more fidgety when being pet on a lap, but definitely feels safer after having been handled regularly and sometimes settles down and purrs while being pet.

On the other hand, Peaches loves to lie down and soak up attention and pets. They both love fleece accessories: snuggle sacks, tunnels, and cuddle cubes.

They are sweet ladies who are really blossoming and they will make lovely pets with continued handling, a quiet home, and plenty of interaction.
