Cheerio is a young male hybrid dwarf hamster who came to us from an accidental litter. He was born approximately May 6th, 2026.<br/><br/>Cheerio is the most nervous of the babies. We are working on handling by scooping him up in a hide and letting him crawl onto our hands. He is making progress but still prefers not to be held or picked up. He does like treats and snacks, rolling around in his sand, and running on his wheel. With time and patience he is likely to get friendlier, but we would recommend him for a home willing to put in the effort to bond with him, or okay with a less social hamster.<br/><br/>Not sure which of the Cereal Pups is the right hamster for you?
