Cadbury's Story

Cadbury is such an unusual looking Campbells dwarf hamster. We named her Cadbury because it looks like she is made of a mixture of white, milk and dark chocolate. She is around 4 months old and is very easy to handle. She has a gentle temperament and enjoys running on her wheel, as well as rolling in her sand. I love her markings; we have had quite a few Syrian hamsters with similar markings.

Cadbury is being fostered in Macungie, PA, the adoption fee for Cadbury is $15.

All hamsters are solitary animals and should be housed by themselves. They are also crepuscular meaning they prefer to come out during dusk and dawn as well as overnight. For this reason, they do not always make the best pets for children under the age of ten. Hamsters can make cute and fun little pets, but as any pets do, they require some special care.

We recommend all our hamsters regardless of if they are Syrian or dwarf move into a cage that is at least 600 sq inches of continuous floor space. Many cages sold in pet store do not meet this requirement.
