We have the energy and exuberance baby piggies are known for, and we could sit there forever watching them 'popcorn' around their pen, jumping with joy, doing zoomies, hopping on top of their hidey houses and running through their tunnels. They are so adorable! Button has smooth hair and Shittake has cowlicks, called 'rosettes', that make his hair stick out in every direction. They are both super adorable! They were surrendered to DPR when their previous owner was moving. They are gentle and enjoy sitting on your lap and eating their veggies. They definitely get super excited when it's fruit and veggie time and do zoomies in anticipation. They are bonded, so we are looking for a home where they can be adopted together. We love them and we know you will too!<br/>Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as 'available for adoption', that means the animal is still in DPR's care. *Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up 'curb side'. Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *<br/><br/>DPR guinea pigs receive a vet check up prior to adoption!<br/>We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
