Brownie & Turbo's Story

Brownie and Turbo are best friend male guinea pigs looking for a loving guardian
together.
These boys get along fabulously with each other and with people.
Turbo is a tan three-year-old American smooth coat guinea pig; Brownie is a brown and
red two-year-old Abyssinian guinea pig. While the boys arent related, they get along
better than most brothers!
The boys are chatty, and they love foraging when you hide treats around their habitat,
or running and hopping through crumpled up paper. Brownie enjoys eating pellets
directly from his caretakers hand.
They are currently eating unlimited timothy, orchard and botanical hays, fresh salad,
fruits, veggies and pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh
pellets, a 1-inch squares of red pepper, a vitamin C cookie, and some of their dark leafy
greens. Their favorite foods are spring mix lettuce, peppers, and cucumbers!
These sweet boys deserve a guinea pig loving home with people who will handle them
daily, keep them well-fed, nails trimmed, and habitat nice and clean.
If youre interested in meeting and possibly adopting Brownie and Turbo, please fill out
an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-
application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting
friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
Their adoption fee of $50 as a pair benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an
additional $75, you can purchase their guinea pig habitat, and all the supplies youll
need to get you started.
They are being fostered in Chicagos Andersonville neighborhood.
