Amy and Emily's Story

Hi, our names are Amy and Emily! Here is what would work best for us in our new home:
-Personality: Social & Curious
-Can Live With Kids: Yes, although they can not be my primary caretaker.
-Can Live With Other Guinea Pigs: Yes, guinea pigs are social animals who should never live alone. They should always be in pairs or groups. Introductions should be slow and structured to ensure everyone gets along.
-Litter Box Trained: No
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No
-Additional Information:
Meet Amy and Emily, these two guinea pigs are sisters and would be a great pair together. They initially were very skittish, but their foster mom helped them learn to trust. They are still very young and would be a good option if you are looking to introduce new guinea pigs to your resident guinea pigs at home.
I need a nice roomy cage with daily exercise. My diet should consist of unlimited grass hay, high quality guinea pig pellets, and fresh greens daily.
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
