Henry’s FAQs

What is Friends of Philip Fish Sanctuary’s adoption process?

We ask for a photo of the tank the fish will move into, along with information about the tank size, temperature, care routine, and other inhabitants. Please note that bettas must be adopted into a five gallon tank or larger, and cannot be kept with other fish unless the tank is 20 gallons or larger. We do not adopt female bettas out to sorority tanks, or in groups or pairs. We adopt out locally in the Reno, NV area and occasionally the SF Bay Area and Sacramento Valley.
