Tortilla

Tortilla is a 20-22 year old male Sulcata tortoise who came into our rescue on March 29. On intake, he weighed 76.4 pounds and measured approximately 17.5 inches long by 12.5 inches wide. Tortilla has been super social and appears healthy. In one of his previous homes, he was underfed but ate hay and dried grasses well, and has been doing much better with the recent owner, and now our foster. <br/><br/>This animal requires a 25’x12’ enclosure. Outdoor pens must be secured into the ground at least 12 inches to ensure they will not dig and escape. He will also need a heated enclosure for the cooler months which will also need to be large for this big guy.
