Squash

Squash is a 5 year old male Sulcata tortoise who came into our rescue on March 31. He is super social and friendly, a great eater, not picky at all and enjoys his time outside. He is a little bit underdeveloped so we cannot confirm 100% yet that he is a male, but it is looking that way. On intake, he weighed about 11 pounds and measured approximately 9 inches long by 6.5 inches wide. He has minimal pyramiding and appears otherwise healthy. <br/><br/>This animal requires a 25’x12’ enclosure. Outdoor pens must be secured into the ground at least 12 inches to ensure they will not dig and escape.
