Marlin's Story

Marlin is a 5.5 year old male marginated tortoise, who came into our rescue on April 21. He has some pyramiding and a bit of an overgrown cusp which has been dremmeled down a bit after taking his pictures. He took a while to get settled into his foster home and refused to eat for a little while, but about a week into his time in foster, he started opening up and is now eating very well and much more social around people. At this point, he is not picky with his greens and really enjoys the outdoors on nice hot days.

This animal needs an indoor enclosure of 8x4 due to their large size. Ideally the outside enclosure is larger for the warmer months, but an 8x4 size enclosure for outdoors is the minimum. Proof of habitat will be requested at time of adoption inquiry.

If you are interested in adopting Marlin, please reach out to us at christinaspets@netzero.net, text us at 610-390-1655 or start an inquiry on this page.
Must be able to travel to the Palmerton, PA area for pick up.
