Kalahari's Story

Hi, my name is Kalahari! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Curious, shy, docile, independent
-Lifespan: 10 - 20 years
-Can Live With Kids: Yes, but an adult must be the primary caregiver. Leopard geckos do not particularly enjoy being handled.
-Experienced Reptile Home: Not required, but we strongly recommend doing plenty of research if you don't have prior leopard gecko experience.
-Can Live With Other Geckos: NO, leopard geckos are solitary animals and should never be housed together.
-Additional information:
Kalahari the leopard gecko is on the hunt for her forever home! For the most part, leopard geckos are more of a "look but don't touch" pet - they're not particularly fond of being handled. They are nocturnal and can be a bit noisy at night time - keep this in mind when finding a spot to place their enclosure (we do not recommend having their enclosures in your bedroom!). Leopard geckos live on a diet of live crickets, mealworms, and/or waxworms and only need to be fed 4-5 times a week. Once again, we STRONGLY recommend doing plenty of research before adopting if you've never owned a gecko before. Proof of an APPROPRIATE cage/enclosure is required for adoption.
