Yellowstone's Story

Hey there, I’m Yellowstone! I’m a curious, outgoing bunny who loves to know what’s going on at all times. I prefer to be right in the middle of the action, and when you come into my space, I might greet you with a gentle nibble at your feet, socks, or pant leg—just my way of saying “hello!”

I have lots of energy and stay on the move for most of the day, especially when I’m exploring or investigating something new. My paper dig box is one of my favorite things, and I can happily take it apart piece by piece. While I’m not overly affectionate, I do enjoy being around people and feeling included. Pets can be a little tricky at first, but I warm up as trust builds.

I haven’t been around children or dogs yet, but I currently live calmly with a resident cat. I do best in a thoughtfully bunny-proofed space, as I can be curious and like to explore with my teeth from time to time. With the right setup, I make a tidy and reliable house bunny. I’m very consistent with using the litter box for pee, and the occasional stray poop is easy to clean up.

My day revolves around morning and evening feedings, with fresh hay and water always available. When it comes to treats, I’m easy to please—Oxbow heart treats, bananas, apples, and blueberries are all big hits, and I haven’t met a snack I didn’t like yet. I do shed a bit, but regular brushing with a soft bristle brush keeps things under control.

I would make a wonderful candidate for bonding and could be a great match for someone with a single bunny looking for love. I’m always eager to see what’s next, and I’m hoping my next adventure is finding a forever home of my own.

*RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed

on a case-by-case basis.*

If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com.

Gender: Female (spayed)

Approximate birthdate: 4/28/2025

Approximate weight: 4.6 pounds

Adoption fee for Single: $100.00 (+tax)

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.

If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
