We vetted the adopter, educated, approved the home, and sent her off thinking shed found her forever family. We even followed up numerous times. <br/><br/>Then, months later, we found Sweater Weather and her non-Dollys bondmate, Wooly, being listed on Facebook Marketplace.<br/><br/>Imagine casually scrolling Marketplace and seeing one of YOUR CHILDREN for sale between a used sectional and someones old lawn mower. Thankfully, we got them back.<br/><br/>Its a frustrating reminder that rescues can have applications, contracts, education requirements, references, and all the safeguards in the world, but occasionally someone will still make a spectacularly crappy decision.<br/><br/>But that chapter is over.<br/><br/>Sweater Weather and Wooly are back at Dollys, fully vetted, and ready to try this whole forever thing again. This time theyre going home together.<br/><br/>Theyre both incredibly sweet, gentle little buns. <br/><br/>Theyve done well around kids and dogs and are basically a ready made adorable family.<br/><br/>There is one catch: Wooly comes with a LOT of hair.
