Uno's Story

Good question! The exotic vet the other rescue uses is really good and she had a thorough exam there just about 2 weeks ago, before getting CVI documentation. She was likely spayed after a few litters, which is the main cause of the excess skin and low weight. We see it all the time - her fecal tests and exams came back clean. I believe other bunny was filled with tumors they discovered during surgery, which was super sad, but not uncommon. She’s not emaciated and we haven’t noted anything to be a cause for concern. When I bring buns to Hawthorne for surgery days, I drop them off at the front and Trickel gets to them when she has time, so I won’t see her to even ask unfortunately, but she definitely is in good health or we’d get her in!
