Health
Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered, special needs. Angoras have special needs as a breed that are above and beyond those of other rabbit breeds. Angoras require more daily care and attention. Twitch's wool gets mats quite easily that need to be blown out, trimmed and brushed and combed out frequently. He will need a confident owner who is prepared to take on the ongoing extra effort. Applications for any special needs rabbit may have an additional screening process.

Petfinder recommends that you should always take reasonable security steps before making online payments.

Meet Twitch and June

Twitch and June are bonded and must be adopted together.

Twitch is an English Angora, though we cannot be certain that he isn't mixed with some other breed. His long locks sure do come in handy when flirting with the ladies - and boy is he a flirt! Twitch has mastered the art of being irresistible, especially if it means treats. He is also quite comical and highly entertaining. His name suits him in many ways!

Twitch does require extra grooming. We are hoping to find a loving family that is willing to either take him to a groomer often, make and appointment with us to groom him for a small fee, and/or allow us to teach you how.

* Indoor Home Only *

Bunnies live an average of 8-10 years, but could live up to 16 or even longer! While they do enjoy gentle pets and head rubs, bunnies generally do not like to be picked up or held as they are prey animals and it can be very scary for them. They also need lots of space to move around, run, binky and play - so no small hutches nor cages. They are social animals who want to be with you and should be accepted as part of the family. They also thrive best in bonded pairs, especially during the hours you are otherwise occupied. They need regular vet appointments just like a dog or cat and should be vaccinated against RHDV2 as soon as it is available in our area. Please do your research before adding any pet to your family. We are happy to answer any questions you may have before and after adoption, as well as assist in helping you decide if a pair of bunnies is right for you.
