Thing 1's Story
*Thing 1 and Thing 2 are bonded siblings and must be adopted together.*

Meet Thing 1 and Thing 2 - an inseparable, dynamic sibling duo looking for their forever home!

Thing 1 (sister) is the adventurous trailblazer of the pair. She's always the first to explore new spaces and test boundaries - quite literally. She loves to leap out of the pen onto the bed, dive into the food storage box for extra pellets, and burrow under sheets or blankets like a little bunny architect. She's playful, inquisitive, and, frankly, a bit of a food thief. If Thing 2 accidentally blocks her access to snacks, she lets him know with a gentle grunt. A girl's gotta eat, after all!

Thing 2 (brother) is the more mellow counterpart - but don't let his relaxed nature fool you. He happily follows his sister into whatever antics she's scheming. With his adorably floppy ears, he's a bit of a go-with-the-flow bunny - unless there's a box involved. Then he's all in. Shredding, climbing, lounging - it's a box bunny paradise, and Thing 2 is right there next to his sister enjoying every moment.

Both bunnies are curious, playful, and self-entertained. One of the biggest perks of adopting a bonded pair? Built-in playmates! They chase each other, zoom on and off the bed, and keep each other company for endless entertainment. Thing 1 even enjoys rolling a pellet ball around to make her snack time a fun challenge.

These two are smart - perhaps too smart - but they also have a habit of getting stuck in their own mischief. They're escape artists who routinely hop out of their pen and love to roam. Because of this, bunny-proofing is essential - especially since they also enjoy chewing on wood. A home with lots of space is a must for this energetic duo. They thrive with room to explore and would be quite disappointed to be confined to a small pen.

While they're cautious around new people at first, a tasty treat or some fresh greens will quickly win them over. They took some time to settle into their recent foster home, so a patient adopter who gives them time to adjust will be rewarded with two loyal, quirky companions.

At the end of the day, Thing 1 and Thing 2 are like extensions of each other. They snuggle, play, and explore together - always side by side. If you're ready for a pair of curious, clever, and entertaining bunnies who will keep you on your toes (and make you laugh every day), these two are the perfect match for you. Are you ready to let this delightful duo hop into your heart and home?

Thing 1 and Thing 2 are spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2 (vaccine needs to be administered annually). House Rabbit Society recommends all rabbits see a rabbit-savvy veterinarian once a year.

Submit an adoption application for the Thing 1 and Thing 2 at houserabbit.org. House Rabbit Society is located in Richmond, California, just north of San Francisco. Questions? Email foster@houserabbit.org and we'll be happy to talk more with you!
