Theo's Story

Some surrender requests hit you in the gut. Others are a matter of life and death. This one was both.

We received a surrender request for two young English Lop brothers, Theo and Sam. But when we followed up, the owner told us they no longer needed help—because a farm had generously agreed to take them. Unfortunately, that farm is known for selling baby rabbits as pets and adult rabbits for meat. And since both boys were no longer babies... our hearts sank. We knew we had to act fast. Their lives depended on it.

Thankfully, we were able to get them out in time.

English Lops are rarely seen in rescue. Bred for shows (or meat), theyre often prized for their sweet, gentle nature (a perfect family bun)—and Theo is no exception. Hes outgoing, curious, loves to explore and takes his hay consumption very seriously (as every proper bunny should haha). At about 9 pounds and still growing, Theo is a big, lovable guy with an even bigger heart.

He's ready to leave his past behind and hop into a future full of love, safety, and all the nose boops he deserves. Could that future be with you?
