TALULA 's Story
Talula was found with 2 other rabbits in Bushwick.
All 3 were emaciated and on the cusp of starvation and dehydration until courageous volunteers stepped up and rescued them from an abandoned back yard in sub zero temps. Talula has experienced trauma but her foster mom has helped her transition from starved vagabond to Dutch Princess.

Fast forward a few months and Talula is a beautiful bunny with miles of personality to boot. She is a chocolate brown Dutch bunny, with one of the roundest and softest bodies, a far cry from how skinny and bedraggled she looked when she was rescued.

Talula is a bunny who has boundaries but also a lot of love to share. She is very social and would likely get along well with another, more submissive, bunny. She loves to sit by you and receive pets and runs around like a puppy when you enter her space. She loves to fling toys around and has wonderful litter box skills—one of the best in the rescue!

Talula loves to explore, and is not afraid of many things. One of her favorite things to do is play with homemade cardboard toys, which she will lift and hulk smash with incredible CrossFit skills. She loves mint leaves, freshly grown from her fosters’ countertop garden. She is also a big fan of lettuce, arugula, and basil leaves—she’s not a very picky eater.

Talula could be a great first-time bunny or join an experienced bun household, as long as she’s with someone who is ready to listen to her needs and give her plenty of enrichment and attention!

Talula has been spayed and the adoption fee if $95

Email: info@allaboutrabbitsrescue.org
