Taffeta (South Surrey)'s Story
Taffy, also known as Taffeta, is a beautiful grey bunny with an adorable white nose and little white front toes. Born in foster care on May 3, 2023, Taffy is the daughter of Katsura, a sweet mama bunny who arrived as a stray.

Taffy is a little bit sweet, a little bit sassy, and 100% diva! She can take some time to trust and feel comfortable, but once she does, her confident and playful personality really shines. She loves to play, and one of her favorite activities is tossing her stacking cups around — because apparently bunny toys are meant to be rearranged!

She has been doing well with her litter box skills and enjoys nibbling on hay and munching on fresh herbs. Taffy is also wonderfully independent and knows what she likes. She can be protective of her personal space, so she’ll do best with someone who understands bunny boundaries and lets her build trust at her own pace.

Once Taffy decides you’re part of her inner circle, you’ll discover a confident, clever, playful girl with plenty of personality. This little diva is looking for a forever home where she can be respected for the independent bunny she is, encouraged to play, and loved exactly as she comes.

The adoption fee is $75 per rabbit ($150 for a pair). Please do your research and if you're interested in any of our rabbits, go to www.vrra.org to fill in our adoption application. We follow the House Rabbit Society adoption policies. For everything you need to know about caring for a bunny, visit the House Rabbit Society website at: www.rabbit.org. We strongly encourage all prospective bunny adopters to pick up a copy of “The House Rabbit Handbook: How to Live with an Urban Rabbit,” available from most online sellers (e.g., Amazon) as well at our shelter.
