Sunny's Story

Must adopt with bond mate, Panda

Hi there, I’m Sunny! I look a lot like my sister, Panda, but you can tell us apart by the black spot on the right side of my nose - I like to think of it as my signature mark. Speaking of Panda - she’s my best friend and bond mate, so we must be adopted together.

Out of the two of us I’m usually the first to hop over when you come by, especially if I suspect you’ve brought me something tasty! I have a friendly personality and really enjoy interacting with people during meal times. In the mornings, I get my pellets in fun ways like in a food ball, puzzle, or snuffle mat, and that’s when you might see me do a happy binky or two.

I’m moderately active and like to stay busy with mental stimulation, but I also make time to rest and lounge during the day. Some of my favorite activities include foraging in a snuffle mat, chewing on hanging toys, unrolling paper from a cardboard tube, or figuring out a food puzzle.

I’m not really a long-term lap sitter, but I do like to hang out near you and check in from time to time. I don’t need a lot of supervision when I’m exploring since I’m not very destructive, though I might have the occasional bathroom accident if I’ve been roaming around for a while.

I don’t mind being in the same space as cats, and I’ve done fine with a dog as long as there’s a gate between us. I haven’t met children before, but I wouldn’t enjoy being picked up and can get a bit startled by loud noises.

Fresh greens are one of my favorite things - spring mix, celery, parsley, and cilantro are all delicious! I’m an easygoing rabbit who’s looking for a place to call home with Panda - could that be yours?

*RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed

on a case-by-case basis.*

If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at:
http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com
.

Gender: Female

Approximate birthdate: 4/1/2024

Approximate weight: 5.64 pounds

Adoption fee for Pair: $160.00 (+tax)

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.

If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
