My friend and I were abandoned in the freezing cold along the White River in downtown Indianapolis. I had frostbite on the tips of my ears, but thanks to kind-hearted rescuers, we were saved just in time. After a short stay at the shelter, we were welcomed into loving foster care and Im learning what it means to be safe and loved.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Im working hard on my litter box skills and getting better every day. I love to stay busy tearing paper, chewing on sticks, and (my specialty) dropping toys in my water dish! Im still nervous around people, but Im trying. When my foster mom brings me food, I do tiny binkies to show her Im happy even if Im still a little shy. I sometimes act cranky when Im scared, but its just because Im still learning to trust.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Ill need a patient and gentle family who understands that building trust takes time. Im incredibly smart and curious, so Ill thrive in a home with plenty of enrichment, space to play, and kindness to help me heal.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Could you be the one to show me that people can be safe and love lasts forever?
