Sierra's Story
Meet Sierra!

Sierra came in with two breaks in her leg. She is healing nicely with a splint, but her leg won't heal perfectly. However, you can't tell by looking at her! She has had her last appointment at Exotic Bird Hospital and has been cleared and ready for adoption. She does need Oxbow Joint Support cookies daily and in her later years she will most likely need affordable arthritis medication.

This sweet girl has a personality that's impossible not to love! Energetic, curious, and full of funny antics, she's always hopping around looking for attention and her next adventure. She absolutely adores people and gets so excited whenever someone is nearby, happily soaking up pets, affection, and all the attention she can get. Binkies are one of her favorite ways to show her happiness, and she gets especially excited when it's time for free roam time, she prefers to be out and about and does not like to be in her x-pen so she can zoom around and explore.

She's also a big foodie and loves her salads and pellets! She has done wonderfully learning how to eat hay and now does great with it. Her favorite treats are slices of banana and blueberries, and she gets incredibly excited whenever she knows snack/treat time is coming. I don't think there is a treat she doesn't like. She has tried and likes the selective naturals loops, and oxbow apple/banana treats. She loves the oxbow lollipops, stacking cups with her pellets hidden in them, she was starting to entertain paper towel rolls with hay hidden inside. She definitely needs lots of enrichment with her busy personality!

She has done wonderfully with litter box training and has become a very clean, neat, and tidy bun. While there may occasionally be a few stray poops outside the litter box, she does an excellent job overall and keeps her space impressively clean.

Sierra has a sassy side as well, and demands to be pet. She LOVES to be pet. If you stop petting her, she likes to chew shoes, so we recommend a household with older kids. Her favorite shoes to chew are Crocs!

She also has a funny mischievous side and loves rearranging her blankets and bedding. She gets very into digging, pulling, and moving everything around to make it exactly how she likes it, it's one of her favorite little hobbies and always entertaining to watch.

Sweet, affectionate, playful, and full of personality, this sweet bun bun is ready to bring endless joy, laughter, and love to her fur-ever home.
