Sapphire (bonded to Sesame)'s Story

Sweet Sapphire will melt your heart! This poor little lady was relinquished because her owner said she was "Too hard to train" and had given birth to "2 stillborn litters". She came to us underweight and very dirty! Within a few days, she gave birth to another pair of stillborn kits. Thankfully, those days are over. She's spayed, healthy, and bonded to her husbun, Sesame. The pair was previously adopted from us, but returned when the owner got pregnant and felt she would not have time for them once the baby arrived. They are back in a foster home and would love to find a family who will cherish them for the remainder of their years. Sesame is fearful of dogs or cats, so they will do best in a home without other pets. They are most comfortable with adults, and would ideally prefer a home experienced with rabbits, as they feel like they were misunderstood in their previous homes. Their foster mom said they are happy, social, and active buns who just want someone to love them!
