Sandy's Story
Sandy is one of the 6 Ronkonkoma buns that AARR took in from the rescue of 27 on Memorial Day.

Isn't is wonderful when a rabbit learns how to be happy?

Sandy here was born in what we suspect a backyard breeder's house. For the first year+ of her life she probably had a ton of litters and very little human interaction or love.
When she first came to us after the Ronkonkoma round up, she was extremely timid and frightened.
Following only two months of foster, she learning to be a real rabbit and letting her personality show!
Sandy loves her food and trying out new healthy snacks like willow sticks. She enjoys lounging on soft towels and rearranging her bed.
Won't it be wonderful to see when Sandy decides to have her very first binky? It hasn't happened yet, but we suspect it will soon. Perhaps she will want to binky for you!

A curious bun weighing 5 lbs. who likes to keep watch of what is going on. She is working on her potty habits and has improved immensely.

Sandy does not walk on hardwood floors and willl only navigate where she has traction. She has demonstrated herself to be cautious when she comes out but is getting braver each day. She will take a break from exploring and sit still to be pet.
Sandy will be an amazing bunny with someone who has a lot of love to share with her.

If foster only, then Queens or Bergen County, NJ preferred
Email allaboutrabbitsrescue@gmail.com
