Piccolo's Story
A Note from the Rescue:
This baby is a courtesy listing through Huntsville House Rabbits Rescue for a family sadly needing to rehome, but looking for the best for their baby. He is well-loved and in search of a loving indoor home. He is neutered and while he is not RHDV2 vaccinated, if you are interested in adopting, our rescue will work with you to help get this protective vaccine (we highly recommend this). We require plenty of space for potential adopting homes by use of an exercise pen or free-roam (no cages as a main living space). Please reach out with any questions about this baby (HuntsvilleHouseRabbits@gmail.com). An adoption application is the first step to get started: www.huntsvillehouserabbits.com/adopt

Piccolo's Background:
Piccolo is a sweet blue-eyed 3 year old little Holland Lop. His family named him after the little Piccolo Lattes that are popular in Australia since he was so tiny when they got him! He is the color of a latte and has a little swipe of "foam" on his head. He is free roam during the day but does enjoy going into a protective enclosure overnight.
He is used to a treat at bedtime and will let you know when he is ready to go to bed. He is shy, but curious. Has a strict routine he likes to keep! It may take him a while to warm up to you, but it is well worth it. Piccolo likes for his people to sit in the floor with him, but is generally not a fan of being picked up or held. He enjoys quiet evenings watching TV sprawled out in the floor. As long as he is in the same room with you, he is happy.
Piccolo's favorite foods are pellets and Timothy hay. He is currently eating Supreme Naturals Grain Free Pellets and enjoys safe lettuces and occasional fruit and treats. He loves bananas, strawberries, and blueberries. Oxbow heart treats and wicker balls are a hit! His favorite lettuce is Hearty Harvest from Publix and whole leaf romaine. He is used to docile indoor cats and has never been around children or dogs. He loves boxes and shredding paper!
He would love time with a screened in porch and a rabbit friend. He desperately wants a furry friend to snuggle with. He is absolutely precious and his family wants the absolute best for him. He is being rehomed do a relocation issue, but is a wonderful and loving bunny. His family would love to see him happy in a new home (hopefully with a bunny friend) and would love to receive updates about him if possible.
