Picasso & Rembrandt (bonded brothers)'s Story

Meet brothers Picasso & Rembrandt! They are the children of rescued parent bunnies Jan Gogh and Bunardo da Vinci and were born into rescue! They also have two sisters who have already found their forever home.

These two brothers are the best of friends, and have very different personalities! Rembrandt (gray nose) is outgoing and loves cuddles and pets and greens! Picasso (white bunny) is more shy, but becoming open to petting and has recently begun trying greens!

These baby boys have been neutered and vaccinated against RHDV2. They are around 4.5 lbs each (they are each about the size of a loaf of bread). They have gray eyes and each baby resembles one parent.

These baby boys were born into rescue on March 24th, 2024, following the rescue of their parents from a south Huntsville neighborhood where they were dumped.

They have both been examined by a local veterinarian and are in great health!

Rabbits can live 10-12 years with good care and an indoor, safe living space! Rabbits need daily Timothy hay, nutritious pellets, greens/veggies, and a bowl of fresh water. Free-roaming or exercise pens work best! We do not recommend cages or hutches or outdoor housing.

If you are interested in giving a bunny a loving forever home, please review our bunny care information slides and supply recommendations sheet and complete an adoption form here: www.huntsvillehouserabbits.com/adopt

Note: Our rescue does not do on-the-spot adoptions; instead we would love to schedule a meetup for you to meet the bunny you are interested in first and make sure you are comfortable with everything required for their care. We find that this helps tremendously in helping adopters find the rabbit that is right for them.
