Peanut's Story

Peanut was born in rescue from his gorgous mom, Faith, who is also for adoption. Faith was found on the side of the road with her husbun, who had been hit by a car.<br/><br/>He was the runt, and we didn't think he would make it. But he did! So well adjusted and friendly, not to mention handsome, Peanut is only a few months old and would need to be returned for neuter.

ReHeart Rescue, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
We require an adoption fee of $100 per rabbit and guinea pig. Cats are on a case by case basis. We also require a signed adoption contract with the understanding that the animal is to be returned to us if no longer wanted. The prospective adopter will need to have a phone interview with us and provide a veterinary reference if possible, plus one to two personal references. Lastly we require a home visit, which may sometimes be completed virtually, to check the habitat set up.
