Paul's Story
Some rabbits arrive with a plan...Paul was not one of them.

A while back, I made a last-minute, 7+ hour drive to rescue senior rabbits Luke and Mara. I packed up, hit the road, and headed to meet a person I'd never met before.

When I arrived to their home, I noticed another rabbit.

He was pretty scared and doing his absolute best impression of a decorative statue.

Now, I hadnt driven 7 hours for this bunny. I hadnt prepared for this rabbit. I definitely didnt need another rabbit.

But naturally, he came back with me. And thats how Paul came to Dolly's.

For months, Paul was a bit of a mystery. He needed vetted and emotionally he was just...stuck. He wasn't aggressive. He wasn't outgoing. He just seemed unsure about the world and his place in it.

But little by little, Paul started to realize something important - life can actually be pretty fun.

These days, Paul is a completely different rabbit. He LOVES toys. He investigates everything. If there is a box, tunnel, hidey house, blanket, or object of any kind, Paul would like to inspect it immediately. He's become one of our most curious rabbits and is constantly off exploring whatever catches his attention. The energizer bunny in real life.

It's been such a joy watching him discover how to be a rabbit.

While many buns dream of a bonded partner, Paul seems perfectly content being the star of the show. What he really wants is a peaceful home where he can be the center of someone's world and continue building the confidence he's worked so hard to find.

Hes earned it.

Apply to adopt him here: https://forms.gle/xatrAFuJh65GYqTG9
