OTTER's Story

Otter (A142526) is a 3-year-old Holland Lop bunny who weighed 4.69 on intake! 06/22/26 This adorable little bun is Otter! Otter arrived at the shelter as a stray and is now looking for her new place to call home! She is quite the character and we are sad we do not know her story. While at the shelter, we have found that she drinks out of a water dish, as opposed to a bottle. She has a healthy appetite for hay and pellets. Keep in mind that bunnies should have unlimited access to hay, but a measured amount of pellets daily. She also loves her chew toys and would appreciate plenty of appropriate chews in her next home. We do not know if she has experience around children or other animals. She was brought in via the drop-off cages and did seem very frightened/worked up by the dog in the kennel nearby. If you do have other critters in your home, please ensure she has a safe space of her own keeping in mind that rabbits are prey animals. She did come in with a previous injury to her ear and some wet marks on her neck – possibly from evading an animal while outside. Otter has become comfortable in her shelter routine and a truly sweet bunny. If you are interested in meeting her, please let us know!
