What is Pumpkin's Acres Rabbit Rescue’s adoption process?

We have an adoption application which allows potential applicants to tell us about their knowledge of rabbits and their care, what they are prepared to provide in terms of care, housing, diet, enrichment and veterinary expenses. We ask about their history as a pet parent, veterinary and personal references. We also ask about their long term intentions for the rabbit. Requirements to Adopt: 1. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older 2. Rabbits must always be housed indoors 3. Children cannot be the primary caregivers for the animals 4. A photo of the rabbit’s setup is to be submitted via email with the application 5. Rabbits may not be adopted out as gifts, Easter presents or for children 6. All other rabbits in the home must be spayed or neutered 7. Adopters are required to have a hard sided carrier to transport the rabbit

Is Nyx good with kids?

Nyx is not good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.
