Motherboard's Story

Motherboard is a sweet and easygoing bunny with a mellow personality. His foster has loved their time with him and shares, "He loves lounging in loaf mode, munching on his veggies, and exploring new corners with curiosity. While he's not particularly demanding, he gets super excited when it's time for food or pets-especially if you're offering both! He'll sometimes nudge his nose through the side of the pen when he's ready to come out and play, and he shows his affection with gentle kisses while being pet.
Motherboard has a playful and curious personality. He enjoys following you around the room, digging around his pen to uncover hidden veggies, and showing off his zoomies when he's feeling especially energetic. After a good burst of activity, he'll often do a big, satisfied flop to relax.
Motherboard is full of quirky little traits that make him irresistibly cute. He gets so excited about hay or veggies that he tries to stand up on his hind legs-only to tip over backwards in the most endearing way. Though he's a bit unsteady and not the most graceful on hardwood floors, that doesn't stop his curiosity; he bravely explores anyway, even if his feet slowly slide outward like a little cartoon character. Watching him wobble, tip, and persevere will definitely make you smile (and laugh a little, too).
Motherboard is a mellow and well-tempered bunny with very few challenges. He's generally easygoing and doesn't show any signs of aggression or anxiety. He's never even nibbled on a finger!"
His foster also shares, "Motherboard has a megacolon condition, which requires some special dietary considerations. However, caring for him doesn't feel any more demanding than looking after a typical rabbit. As long as his diet is kept consistent and balanced, he does very well. His condition hasn't affected his energy, appetite, or sweet temperament."
Motherboard is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2 (vaccine needs to be administered annually). House Rabbit Society recommends all rabbits see a rabbit-savvy veterinarian once a year.
Submit an adoption application for Motherboard at center.houserabbit.org. House Rabbit Society is located in Richmond, California, just north of San Francisco. Questions? Email rabbit-center@houserabbit.org and we'll be happy to talk more with you!
As part of our Golden Ears program, this rabbit will receive free medical exams, medications, and procedures at House Rabbit Society. If the adopter wishes to seek other medical services, clinics, and doctors, the adopter will pay out of pocket and House Rabbit Society cannot cover the cost of these appointments.
