Moonbeam (South Surrey)'s Story
** Happy New Year, everybunny! Moonbeam has found her furever home. **

Introducing Moonbeam, who came in as a stray to our local shelter!

Moonbeam didn’t do well in the shelter, so she found her way into a VRRA foster home. She’s estimated to be between one and two years old, and is a white and black Lionhead cross.

Here are few words from her foster mom, describing her personality:

Moonbeam is a sweet, quiet little soul. She likes to explore her immediate surroundings and settles down for a nap when the spirit moves. She enjoys a snuggle on your chest while being gently petted. It will take her a bit of time to get used to a new environment and household activities, but she is used to respectful dogs and other rabbits nearby. She has a dainty diet and is selective in choices both in greens and pellets but has been checked by the vet and is healthy (if a bit slim).

Moonbeam is easy to handle and prefers free roaming but settles well in her bedroom {pen} at night.

Moonbeam is looking for a gentle home where she can blossom even further.

The adoption fee is $75 per rabbit ($150 for a pair). Please do your research and if you're interested in any of our rabbits, go to www.vrra.org to fill in our adoption application. We follow the House Rabbit Society adoption policies. For everything you need to know about caring for a bunny, visit the House Rabbit Society website at: www.rabbit.org. We strongly encourage all prospective bunny adopters to pick up a copy of “The House Rabbit Handbook: How to Live with an Urban Rabbit,” available from most online sellers (e.g., Amazon) as well at our shelter.
