Lyra is a little sweet girl who was abandoned in Florence shortly after Easter. She was abandoned with a friend (or possibly a sibling) who was found dead at the scene, leaving her understandably nervous, but she has been warming up well. She is shy but friendly. Shes just barely 4 lbs! She would love a home where she can get lots of attention from someone who will be patient with her as she takes time to feel comfortable. <br/><br/>Lyra gets along well with polite cats and highly supervised and trained polite dogs, as well as other bunnies. <br/><br/>Rabbits can live 10-12 years with good care and an indoor, safe living space! Rabbits need daily Timothy hay, nutritious pellets, greens/veggies, and a bowl of fresh water. Free-roaming or exercise pens work best! We especially recommend this if you are new to rabbits or it has been many years, have small children or multiple pets, or have any history with 4H (as their instruction is often extremely lacking / incorrect).<br/><br/>Please reach out if you have any questions! We must have a form from you first. We find that this helps tremendously in helping adopters find the rabbit that is right for them.<br/><br/>Our adoption fee for a single rabbit is $100 or $150 for a bonded pair (less than the cost of spay or neuter alone for a single bunny).
