Lucy's Story
Lucy is a spayed female mixed-breed rabbit, estimated to have been born in 2020. She’s basically a golden retriever in bunny form—loving, curious, and always by your side. Lucy will happily be your little shadow, soaking up attention and keeping a close eye on anything you’re eating (just in case it’s for her).

She thrives in an active home and loves being part of the family, especially if there are children around. Free-roaming or extended playtime works well for her, as long as cords and corners are bunny-proofed—those are her favorites!

Lucy is still working on her litter habits but has made great progress since being spayed. Because she’s a larger bunny, she’ll do best with an extra-large litter box or even two standard ones.

She’s learning to enjoy hay and healthy pellets, though treats are definitely her weakness—she’ll break into any container if given the chance! She came to us at an unhealthy weight but is doing much better now, so moderation is key.

Lucy is also exploring toys and enrichment. She’s starting to enjoy shredding willow and vine balls and is quite the expert when it comes to “bunstruction” with cardboard boxes.

When it comes to affection, Lucy loves booty scratches, head rubs, and even hugs—but she does not like being picked up. The best way to win her over is to meet her at her level.

We think Lucy could also be a great candidate for bonding with a neutered male rabbit.

Lucy's adoption fee is $100. Adopters must be at least 18 years old.
