Lennon and Chloe's Story

Chloe is a beautiful soul who survived life outdoors, where she tragically lost one of her eyes. After surgery to safely close the socket, she has been healing both physically and emotionally. She can be a little cautious at first, but with time and patience, her gentle, loving nature shines through. Chloe is a quiet fighter with so much love to give.

Lennon came to us as a tiny stray, far too young to be on his own, with scabs on his little body. Now, after completing treatment for ringworm and getting the all clear, he is healthy and ready for his forever home. Despite his rough start, Lennon is incredibly sweet, calm, and trusting.

Together, Chloe and Lennon have formed a beautiful bond. They bring comfort to one another, helping each other feel safe as they heal and grow. Watching them together is a reminder of how powerful companionship can be, two survivors who found friendship and security in each other.

We are hoping to find a loving home that will welcome both Chloe and Lennon, giving them the patience, care, and safety they deserve. Their journey hasn’t been easy, but their future is full of hope, and they are ready to share it together.

If you’d like to meet me, stop by Jefferson Feed (corner of Jefferson Hwy. and Central Ave.). We kindly ask that visits be made earlier in the day, as the last hour before closing is reserved for medications and end-of-day care.

Rabbit Adoption Fee is $60 ($120 Both) includes that all animals are Spayed/Neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped.

Please note: this application is view-only in Dropbox and must be downloaded to your device to be completed. Jefferson SPCA's Adoption Policy
We require a completed adoption application for all animals. Applications are carefully reviewed to ensure the best possible match for both the adopter and the pet. This process typically takes 3–5 business days and is not immediate. We do not offer same-day adoptions. Animals are not “held,” “reserved,” or adopted on demand. Meeting an animal does not guarantee approval, and animals are not adopted on a first-come, first-served basis. Our team prioritizes thoughtful, responsible placements. We verify information provided on applications, including veterinary history and landlord approval when applicable. Incomplete or inaccurate applications will not be approved. Adoption inquiries should be directed to our team: Cats and small animals: Hannah, hannah@jeffersonspca.org Dogs: Martha (volunteer coordinator), cajunlassie78@att.net Email is the best and fastest way to communicate with our organization. While Jefferson Feed kindly hosts our adoption center, their staff is not involved in the adoption process and cannot provide application updates or approvals. We ask that adopters respect their time and direct all adoption-related questions to our team. We are committed to placing animals in safe, appropriate, and permanent homes.
