Koda's Story

Lionhead mix rabbit Koda was surrendered to the Franklin Township Animal Shelter when his family could no longer care for him.. Koda is two years old and he likes to be petted, but is not fond of being picked up. He enjoys carrots as his favorite snack! Franklin Township Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Adoption fee for dogs, cats, kittens, and rabbits is $80 per animal. Cats, dogs, rabbits and kittens are spayed/neutered. Cats, dogs, and kittens are microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate shots prior to adoption. Cats have also been tested for feline leukemia and FIV and dogs have been tested for heartworm. An adoption application may be found at the link below. Applications can be faxed to the Animal Shelter at 732-873-8902 or e-mailed to Brian.Hartman@FranklinNJ.Gov. Applications may also be dropped off in person during our open hours Tuesday-Friday 12pm-3pm Saturday 12-6pm.
