Kingslayer was supposed to be eaten.<br/><br/>Then her owner passed away, leaving around 20 rabbits behind, crammed into 2 tiny wire cages.<br/><br/>A neighbor stepped in and tried to care for all of them, which was incredibly kind, but nobody exactly plans on waking up one morning and becoming the sole caretaker of 20ish rabbits.<br/><br/>That's where we came in.<br/><br/>We were able to rescue everyone she had left and, naturally, named them all after Game of Thrones characters.<br/><br/>And Kingslayer?<br/><br/>Oh, she EARNED that name.<br/><br/>When she arrived almost a month ago, she was spicy. Actually, spicy doesn't quite cover it. We were a little scared of her.<br/><br/>She was likely the mother of most of the babies in the group and was extremely territorial of them. She was also terrified. In a very short amount of time, she'd lost everything familiar, been moved from place to place, and suddenly found herself surrounded by a bunch of new humans.<br/><br/>The first photo her foster mom sent, below, really says it all. You can see how apprehensive she was. <br/><br/>Then Kingslayer discovered the finer things in life.<br/><br/>Stuffed animals.<br/><br/>Soft places to sleep.<br/><br/>And bunstruction.<br/><br/>Heavy emphasis on the last one.<br/><br/>RIP cardboard couch. You died an honorable death.<br/><br/>She spends her days remodeling her foster family's furniture without permits and lovingly grooming her stuffed animals like they're her little babies.<br/><br/>And just a month later, she's a completely different rabbit. Getting spayed helped tremendously, but so did finally feeling safe.<br/><br/>Now Kingslayer is ready for the final chapter: finding her forever family.<br/><br/>She's still a big personality. We don't expect that to ever change, and frankly, we don't want it to.<br/><br/>She's also not particularly interested in men.<br/><br/>After everything she's been through? Fair. You can be a man hater. <br/><br/>Kingslayer needs someone who doesn't want an easy bunny.
