Kenai's Story

Must adopt with Shenandoah

Hello, I’m Kenai! I’m an adorable black and white spotty boy who is bonded with my mom, Shenandoah, which means we must be adopted together.

I’m one of seven babies my mom had when we were found and rescued. She’s my rock and puts up with my shenanigans. My favorite sport is running between rooms as fast as I can until I skid to a stop on the rug. Sometimes, I’ll convince my mom to race me!

I’m a pint-sized dude with a huge amount of curiosity. I’m not sure how I will do around other cats or dogs, but the resident rabbits in my foster home are pretty interesting. My litter box skills are improving as I tend to hang my bum over the side by accident.

Snack time has to be the best part of the day and I’ll turn on my charm for a small slice of dried apple!

I’m ready to find my forever home with my mom by my side—perhaps our story continues with you.

*RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed

on a case-by-case basis.*

If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com.

Gender: Male

Approximate birthdate: 4/28/2025

Approximate weight: 2.42 pounds

Adoption fee for Pair: $160.00 (+tax)

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.

If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
