Kai Ryssdal's Story

Kai is a senior gentleman that loves to sit in his log tunnel. He likes a calm, quiet environment. And, he loves to groom his pineapple stuffy! We promise - his disapproving look is just his resting bunny face. He is a charming boy! Kai LOVES hay. He eats his greens and pellets over the course of the day, but mostly overnight. Due to his former life, he isn't sure about your intentions when you first pick him up. However, he settles down right away. He enjoys being groomed and will sit nicely while being brushed. One of his rear legs does cross under him, but doesn't slow him down. He requires a very low litter box that allows him to enter without jumping. His litter box skills are excellent!

Rabbit Wranglers's Adoption Policy

To begin the adoption process, please email alyssa@rabbitwranglers.org for an application. When your application is approved, a meet and greet will be scheduled. Please note, Rabbit Wranglers is a network of foster homes; all adoptions occur in a Rabbit Wranglers' foster home located in Dormont, PA. Our recommended adoption donation is $75 for a single and $125 for a bonded pair. All adopters must be 21 years of age and live within a two hour radius of Pittsburgh, PA. All of our rabbits are spayed/neutered and cleared by our vet for adoption. Additionally, we will provide you with lots of information on rabbit care and be there for you post adoption to answer any questions you may have.
