Johnifer

Johnifer is one of our Extra Special buns and has a few needs that his adopter should be aware of. Johnifer has a little bit of a sensitive stomach but he does very well on Science Selective pellets and Romaine only (no fancy greens for this guy!) He was also given the award for NJ's Most Fashionable Bunny after needing to wear a splint for 8 weeks for a broken foot. <br/>Johnifer's foot is just a little bit crooked but we think it just adds to his cute, goofy character! He's all healed up and it doesn't slow him down in the slightest. <br/><br/>His backstory:<br/>Johnifer was another victim of the epidemic of people dumping bunnies. Someone didn't want him, so they just put her on the street to fend for himself! This poor baby had no way to survive and she was extremely lucky that a Good Samaritan was able to corner her under a car and scoop her up. The rescues are ALL full so then Jenny had to sit in a teeny tiny cage until we were able to make room for him at Kind Heart.<br/><br/>Now Johnifer is in a foster home INSIDE where he belongs. He was in awe of his tunnel and hidey house when he first arrived. Now he loves running around his pen, throwing his wooden toys and chewing on seagrass matts.<br/><br/>More about Mr. Johnifer:<br/>A Mini Rex, Johnifer is under 4lbs and soooo soft. He's about 7 months old (as of July 2024) and has the longest bunny eyelashes you have ever seen! <br/>Johnifer may be a bit shy when he meets you, but once he warms up, he is always running to the edge of his pen to get nose pets as you walk by! Once Johnifer gets to know you, he's also ok with being picked up to enjoy some snuggles too!<br/><br/>Rabbit friendly dogs don't bother Johnifer in the slighest, but he would do best in a furever home without younger kiddos since "happy chaos" can be a little intimidating to him.<br/><br/>If you're looking for the sweetest, softest boy to love on - Johnifer's your bun!<br/><br/>$175 Adoption fee includes Johnifer, (neutered and vaxxed)), a playpen/X-pen, hay, pellets, litter, litter box and bowls.
