Jewel & Mellow (South Surrey)

Meet Jewel and Mello! These two characters come from different backgrounds but have made it work. Thanks to a dedicated foster volunteer, Mello and Jewel have bonded and become quick friends,

Jewel is a gorgeous Rex and she loves to explore. She's the more timid of the two, but warms up and loves to be stroked, especially when treats or some good veggies are involved.

Mello is very well socialized and will come right up to see you — much like a small dog. His confidence definitely helps Jewel. He is part Lionhead and just looks adorable.

Both are relatively young and are litter trained. They love their outside time, so outside pen access will make them happy.

The adoption fee is $150 (for the pair). Please do your research and if you're interested in any of our rabbits, go to www.vrra.org to fill in our adoption application. We follow the House Rabbit Society adoption policies. For everything you need to know about caring for a bunny, visit the House Rabbit Society website at: www.rabbit.org. We strongly encourage all prospective bunny adopters to pick up a copy of The House Rabbit Handbook: How to Live with an Urban Rabbit, available from most online sellers (e.g., Amazon) as well at our shelter.
