Jalapeño's Story

Why is the cutest boy ever still searching for a family?

“When we first started fostering Jalapeño, we weren’t exactly sure what to expect with a partially blind bunny. However, we VERY quickly realized there was nothing to worry about!

Within minutes of showing him his new enclosure, he started happily exploring and went right through his tunnel and then into his hide house. He curiously checked out the litterbox, food, and his new toys. He did his scanning of the room but got comfortable quite quick, and clearly had no trouble finding his way around.

Then my 3 teenagers were excited to start to get to know him better. Since day one, They interacted with him, held him, And he soaks it all in! Our VERY favorite thing about him...when you hold him, he melts right into your arms and contently stays there until you put him down.

Not all bunnies enjoy being held, so this is a HUGE plus side! For someone looking for a therapy bunny, he should not be overlooked! He has such a calm and sweet disposition, spending time with him makes worries melt away.

He doesn’t mind our busy household and even seems to enjoy spending time with our very calm senior dog.

This guy is an absolute Gem, I hope he finds a forever home that can see the MANY strengths he has to offer, and all the love he has to give, because he sure deserves his happily ever after, partial blindness/ quirks, and all. We’re sure rooting for him!”

Apply to adopt Jalapeño here: https://forms.gle/xatrAFuJh65GYqTG9
