Jacki's Story
Jacki is a smart, curious bunny who knows exactly what she wants. She's independent, confident, and full of personality!

Jacki is a bit of an escape artist, so her ideal home would be one where she has plenty of space to roam, explore, and satisfy her curiosity, along with a secure enclosure with high walls for nighttime. She is a clever girl who loves discovering “forbidden” places and figuring out how things work. She's not particularly interested in toys or cardboard, her favorite activity is simply exploring.

Jacki has a fun daily routine with her foster mom. She lives in the basement, but every evening she comes upstairs and scratches at the door to let her foster mom know she would like to join her. Once the door opens, Jacki immediately begins her inspection, putting her nose to the floor and sniffing every inch of the room. She also loves standing tall on her hind legs (her “telescoping” pose!) to see what everyone is doing.

Jacki is still learning to trust humans and prefers affection on her own terms. She is not a bunny who wants to be picked up or cuddled. Her foster mom is working hard to socialize her, but she's not a fan of being touched. But if she wants attention and feels ignored, she may give a gentle little ankle nip as a reminder that she is there (it does not hurt and has never broken skin).

Because of her independent and sassy nature, Jacki would do best with an experienced rabbit owner who understands bunny behavior and appreciates a rabbit with a big personality. She takes some time to warm up to new people and new environments. With patience, she becomes more comfortable, after a few days, she will usually begin accepting treats and showing her curious side.

Jacki is not the right bunny for someone looking for a snuggly lap rabbit. She is a queen who values her independence, but she has so much charm, intelligence, and personality to offer. If you're willing to earn her trust and respect her boundaries, Jacki will reward you with her unique brand of bunny companionship. Are you ready to meet this little explorer and let her rule your heart (and probably your home)?
