While she can be a little cautious when meeting new people, Ivy has discovered that treats, gentle pets, and kind humans are pretty wonderful. She enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring her surroundings, and soaking up the fresh air whenever she gets the chance.<br/><br/>Ivy has lived successfully in a home with loud dogs and a toddler and handles household activity well. While she does fine in a busy environment, she seems most confident when she has a calm, patient adult to help guide her and reassure her when she's unsure. If you dont currently have a vet, please identify which one youll be using and set up care so we can confirm your new pet will receive medical attention when needed.<br/><br/>For pets already in the home:<br/><br/>Because the number of homeless animals in our area is so large, we adopt only to homes where current pets are spayed or neutered, with documented medical exceptions. We also require that all resident pets be up to date on their vaccinations to ensure everyone stays healthy and safe.<br/><br/>Keep in mind:<br/><br/>We are 100% foster-based and 100% volunteer-operated. Our team works hard to process applications as quickly as possible. Please be patient but if you dont hear back within a few days, message us on Facebook to confirm your application went through.
